The sun has just set over the horizon. Lightning momentarily illuminates the night sky. All I can hear is the sound of the sails billowing from the wind as the boat slices through the water. I am somewhere off the coast of Panama, laying down on the deck of a sailboat watching the mast sway back and forth like a metronome against a backdrop of stars.
I often find it difficult to describe these travel moments to others. So I created this website to capture these experiences and share them with my friends, family and fellow adventure travelers.
Time seems to pass us by so quickly. The art of photography for me is an attempt to freeze a moment in time and to encapsulate at least a few of those memories and emotions. A fleeting moment immortalized in a single frame. The individual frames collectively telling a story. And this is my story, a visual chronicle of my journey.
I know that there are others out there like myself who are captivated by the wonders of our world. They too dream of sailing through the Greek Islands, walking along the Seine in Paris or browsing the markets in Marrakech. But I realize that most of my friends and family will never make that journey there. Life has a tendency of getting in the way. So my goal is to try and share the beauty of these places to those following along from afar.
The daily grind has a way of wearing down the body and soul and so it often simply helps to know that these places do exist out there. I hope that through my stories and experiences that I might even inspire some of you to follow your dreams, whatever they may be.
